    Hi IAMSLIC:
One of my community patrons is a local dermatologist who writes articles
for the Diver Alert Network newsletter. His most recent interest is
sunscreen and marine life. There are stories of sunscreens being banned
in certain areas (see http://members.aol.com/amprsnd/sunscreen.html which
quotes IAMSLIC's own Kay Hale). I've not been able to find anything in
the published literature on this. I've even searched for specific
compounds (like PABA) and toxicity coupled with (marine or aquatic). Are
any of you familiar with research in this area?
    Thanks,
    Barb
