Bonjour!
The 2001 IAMSLIC/EURASLIC Steering Committee is putting final touches on the conference registration forms so they can be distributed with a Preliminary Program and in accordance with the requirements of Le Quartz.
Two special events on Friday, October 19:
* For delegates who register for the full conference, a trip to Oceanopolis and the local South Finistere region is offered as a "gift" from IFREMER, Town of Brest and Finistere Council. Guests and conference delegates who only register for one or two days may purchase tickets for this trip.
* This week I learned a special visit to the BNF (Bibliothèque Nationale de France) has been arranged for a maximum of 20 delegates who are in Paris on Friday afternoon (approx. 2 to 4 pm). This two-hour guided tour of the National Library of France will be an option on your registration form. Of course, the visit will be free of charge.
