Hi, IAMSLIC folks: I have been asked to remind IAMSLIC e-mail discussion
list senders to please put standardized subject headers on particular
e-mails to assist everyone in managing their e-mail inboxes:
DUPS -- a list of duplicates available
DUPS GONE -- to alert folks that the items are all given
away
FYI -- for non-urgent or news type items
ILL -- a request for an InterLibrary Loan (whether a copy or whole
item)
ILL FILLED -- to alert folks that they no longer need to respond
to the ILL request originally sent
REF ? -- a reference or information request for help
answering a question, locating a person or institution
REF ? FILLED -- to alert folks that they no longer need to respond
to the reference request originally sent
If anyone knows of other "standard" subject headers which would be useful
to the IAMSLIC discussion list, please recommend them,
