    Dear Colleagues,

Florida RDs/DTRs have an unprecedented opportunity to obtain CEUs in an
area of emerging importance – that of Parkinson’s disease. The state of
Florida has more individuals with PD than any other state, with the
exception of California, and there is a great and growing need for
    nutrition expertise in this field.

Thanks to grant funding, the National Parkinson Foundation Care Centers
in Florida are able to offer the “Professional Health Team Workshop for
Parkinson’s Care – An Interdisciplinary Update for Health Care
Professionals.” This full-day 7-hour conference offers an outstanding
opportunity to increase knowledge and skills in assessment and treatment
of Parkinson’s disease. Additionally, it brings colleagues from
different disciplines together for mutual learning to improve
collaborative patient care, as well as enhance the skills of individual
practitioners in their area of expertise. There is no charge to
attendees. Organizers have applied for seven (7) CEUs for attendance.

    - Presenters are nationally recognized experts in Parkinson care
    - Emphasis is on practical “hands-on” knowledge and problem-centered
    case studies
    - Organizers have applied for seven CEUs for RDs and DTRs.
