Yes I have heard of older people using HGH. The NIA supported research on HGH
in the 1980's and it did seem to have some beneficial effects - Increased
muscle being one on the most notable changes. I think that Dan Rudman was one
of the investigators who got a lot of money for his projects. The problem is
that no one knows what happens long term with continued use of HGH. It
interacts with other hormones in a cascade effect and as other hormones change
with age, the imbalance may have untoward effects. The problem I see with
this add is that HGH is being sold as an unregulated substance. The dosage
should be calculated for each individual as are other prescription drugs based
on age, weight co-morbidity etc.. Hope that this is enough information. - Ann
