NOTICE OF CHANGE IN SERVICES
In response to the Five-Year Administrative Unit Review of the
Division of Information Technology, the Division is consolidating
some of its functional units to avoid duplication of services and
facilitate client access to IT services.
As part of this re-alignment, the services offered through the Center
for Advanced Information Technology (CAIT), along with others, will
be incorporated into the new Instructional Technology and Digital
Media Center (ITDMC). The Center, which will offer a single entry
point into instructional technology services, is slated for opening
this Fall in Surge II.
During the summer, we will focus on developing the new Center,
transitioning appropriate services, hiring staff, and relocating
equipment. We expect this work to be completed before Fall quarter.
Until then, CAIT staff are unable to accept new assignments.
