I'm having some missing video portion after capturing DVCAM footage
through Premiere 5.1a on G3 with Firemax-C. The weird thing is during
playback on Preview Monitor, everything is there: audio and video. But
after bringing into Timeline, the entire video portion is gone while the
audio is audible but not visible.
Could it be caused by mixing footages that were captured on the fly
(without TC) and footage that were batch captured (with TC)? Recapturing
the footage has fixed it but I'm curious on the cause. I also get a few
BUS ERROR crashes with Premiere when I open that project.
This is my first time using DVCAM footage and mixing footages with
and without TC from tapes. I never had this problem before with miniDV
footages (always batch captured though).
