RE: A few questions about Digital 8?

I have the Sony TRV103 Digital 8 camera. It plays 8 and Hi-8 recordings and
surprisingly digitizes these and sends them through the firewire into the
computer. Nice benefit I didn't expect. I thought I might have to get a
converter box to convert the old 8 footage. These cameras do have analog
inputs, which also serve as the analog outputs to the TV or to another deck.

Hope this helps!

Subject: A few questions about Digital 8?

Hey Everyone-

I notice that most Sony Digital 8 Camcorders list analog inputs as
one of their features. What about analog out for viewing on a TV or
dubbing to an analog format? Is it only available in certain models, is
it built in, or do you need an adapter. Also could I use a Digital 8
camewra as a middle man to get my Hi-8 footage conveted to DV and into my
computer at the same time?

Thanks in Advance,
Mitch
