I notice that most Sony Digital 8 Camcorders list analog inputs as
one of their features. What about analog out for viewing on a TV or
dubbing to an analog format? Is it only available in certain models, is
it built in, or do you need an adapter. Also could I use a Digital 8
camewra as a middle man to get my Hi-8 footage conveted to DV and into my
computer at the same time? >>
Analog output is available on all Sony Digital 8 Camcorders. It is built
in..no adapters are needed. If you play back an older Hi-8 you can output
analog or firewire. Digital 8 Camcorders are very flexible and also shoot
very high quality video for one chip camcorders.
