Bob,
You might trim your posts of no longer relevant material - keeps bandwidth
down.
EditDV doesn't work that well with the Tupperware (B&W) G3's - yet. They
may eventually get it working okay.
FWIW, I'd say Final Cut Pro - it knocks the socks of Pemiere 5.1 and is a
very nice, sweet piece of software.
It's not hard to learn, basically just works, although if you're a PAL
country be aware that it isn't yet certified for PAL - there's only one
small (easily worked around) issue but other than that it works fine in PAL
(I"ve been using it for 4 months now, in PAL)
