Actually there is a big difference in the performance of various
scalers... some do great scaling all resolutions, some work well with some
resolutions but not others, some aren't very good at scaling at all. If
you don't have to use this feature (ie, work only in one resolution- the
native rez of the display), all the less to worry about.

Thanks on the NEC website- I'll check it out.
