    I've seen them display full screen DVD video form the computer over the
computer video cable (but it is still NTSC video) and the quality is very
good. Lighting is very even but it is inherrantly an LCD screen so it does
not have the contrast of a CRT or the viewing angle of a CRT.
     I've read, but not seen, that there are NEC screens with a much wider
viewing angle (the luminance and thus, the contrast are the same) but you can
add a touch screen to the NEC screens which make them perfect for kiosk work.
