Sean,
In your last posting, you made allowances for realizing that there ARE thousands of potential variables (location, education, equipment, etc.), and yet you continue to ask for the information, knowing that it isn't pertinent. If you were requested to shoot an event and if it wasn't worth your time, would you do it? If not, why not?
I think what most people are trying to say is that you take a freelance job based on your personal criteria. I realize you're talking about some sort of objective standard, but it doesn't seem to work that way. If you want to work in the business, than you will either take what's offered or not. The choice is yours. The "boss" (not Sprinsteen) will either offer to meet your needs or not.
The only means I can see of pooling the incomes of various digvid posters, is if we all worked for the same company, and we weren't getting justly paid. But obviously, that's not the case.
I don't mean any offense of any kind. Just stating the obvious. Please correct me if i'm wrong.
