Get QuickTime 4.0 (beta), upgrade to the Pro version for $30, open the
QuickTime mov in QuickTime Player, then do an Export specifying "movie as
AVI". You're done.
Be sure to check the options dialog too, but other than that it couldn't
be easier. And it properly handles audio interleave and compressed audio
too, which none of the other solutions (VfW Converter, trmoov, et al) do.
