A Non-linear spatial story?

Boooo…….

The story line tread is an interesting one.

But before I digress…. I appreciate the systems requirements listing
concerning “PC” state-of-the-art hardware requirements for “video” editing
desktops. The ongoing ragging on the software tools is also instructive for the
novice wanting to play but worried he will be soon skinned by the techiest of
the video nerd-dom – the non-linear specialists. It certainly beats the MS vs
Apple noise still found as a basis of video editing . The Story Line thread
debate and the following response has finally created a need to ask a question
or two.

Non-linear stories – that’s an interesting idea. Non-linear spatial stories
yikes! What is that? Sort of like the games my kids play where the goal of
the game remains but the pathways to its conclusion can have many tracks?

Non-linear spatial stories yikes! What is that?

What about a spatial non-linear video? Say something like a world-picture in
small frames or clips. Each taken at the same moment at a different point.
Like a multi-plot play but on a map?
