iMac ads & weird audio

I have DL some of the recent Apple ads for my onn offline enjoyment. I
have the "Toasted Bunny" and I have also grabbed the iMac ads with Jeff
Goldblum and a couple others. They look and sound fine when played normally,
but, being the oddball that I am, I set the movies to "loop back and forth."
This plays the movie backwards when it reaches the end of the clip.
Normally everything just goes backwards, including the sound, but the
iMac ads are different... the audio plays forward, in sucessively earlier
short bursts. So instead oof playing 1-10 and then playing
10,9,8,7,6,5,4,3,2,1, it plays, 9,10, 7,8, 5,6,3,4 and so on. I was wondering
if anyone else experienced this.
If you don't have the ads, they're accessable from Apple's Hot News page.
You'll need QT3 to watch them and QT3 Pro (or plug-in 2.1 and Movie Player
2.5) to DL them to disk and loop back and forth.
I'm using a G3 DT, QT3 Pro, I do not have the "Audio Tune Up" extensions
loaded, the problm persists in both MoviePlayer 2.5 and 3.0.
