hi
anyone out there using a pinnacle dv300 firewire card? i have some
friends thinking of buying a system with one and they're paranoid about
the investment without knowing that people are using them successfully.
any suggestions about configuration are also welcome, and could someone
explain why it is recommended to get twice as much disk space as you
need - i know the data rate drops as you get closer to the inside of the
disk, but twice as allowing twice as much space seems overkill.
