It's pretty fun! The keyboard is way cheap but the software all works and
is a good intro to midi.

But if you're thinking about using it for scoring you might want to
consider getting an inexpensive yamaha keyboard that has a midi port.
You'll be able to do things with just the keyboard, (some of them even have
basic but very usable multi-track sequencers built in) and when you are
ready for midi it will be a lot easier with a more responsive keyboard.
