The DSR-200 A strives to be a more "professional" camcorder so it puts far
more of the controls on individual buttons. This dramatically changes the
design and use of the 200 versus the 1000. The focus riing is the same, but
that's about it. OTOH, putting the camcorder into slow shutter- and then
adjusting the speed of the slow shutter is infinitely more difficult with the
200 than the 1000 (where you just rotate one knob.)
