The hiss you are hearing is mostly likely because you are running with the
automatic gain control on. Turn it off, set the audio level to 7, and use the
trim pots on the XLR-PRO to control your audio level. What is happening is
the AGC is cranking wide open and you are hearing the noise in the AFC
circuit. Dave
