Thanx for all your help on my problem. I did some testing on this
now. My MKE is picking up the shoemount vibration which is caused by the
motor (using both the AGC and manual control on volume). The only way is
not to attach directly on top of the camcorder (the noise was gone when
I use MKE on top of a separate bracket which is being attached to the
bottom of the VX. I also plugged in a corded mic into the XLR-PRO and
there's no motor noise (only some hiss).
Will the motor noise be gone if I add the MD3000 (an accessory shoe
made of aluminum providing an extra mounting shoe) from Mini-cool lux? I
need this anyway so that I could mount the shotgun and my Mini-cool lux
lite.
If not, any other way besides using my bracket which attaches to
the bottom of the VX? I really don't like that bracket since it adds too
much weigh to the VX.
Thanx again. -Al
