Just an FYI for those who want to know,
there is another DV/VHS (WV-D700 or 7000)deck being released in Japan on
the 10th by Sony
for about half the price of the WV-D10000. However this new deck will not
have SVHS and is probably inferior to the WV-D10000 overall. While visiting
one of the video shops in Tokyo I stumbled upon a clerk who was perhaps
pricing?? the boxes he said that they hadn't received any
literature yet, since it wasn't to be released until Oct.10th, and he
didn't have any info or specs.

just a little info tidbit for those of you who did'nt know.

Cheers,
Roger
