    I hope that everyone enjoys this nice short week and a little break before
    the madness of finals sets in. This is a good time to look into an
    internship for winter quarter while you are waiting for that turkey to
    finish cooking....

    There are only some of the workshops that are available to students, for
    the complete list check the ICC website or stop by and pick up a schedule
    in South Hall.

    Organization
    California Association for Local Economic Development (CALED) is a
    Sacramento based professional membership association made up of public and
    private organizations involved in economic development. As an
    organization, we strive to help our members in their efforts to attract,
    expand and retain businesses in their communities. Formed in 1980, CALED
    has grown to over 700 members, representing cities, counties, state,
    federal and private sector members.

    Qualifications
    Computer graphics or related area. Excellent organizational skills. Good
    internet research skills. Ability to work on collaborative projects, as
    well as work independently on assigned tasks. Must be proficient with
    Microsoft Office Suite and Dreamweaver. Good interpersonal skills. Intern
    must be either a sophomore, junior, or senior.
     
    Position description
    This internship is designed to provide students with skills and experience
    related to computer graphics, web page development, graphic design and
    organization. CALED will give you the opportunity to gain experience using
    Dreamweaver, a web-based computer program, and other programs that we use
    to update our website. Specifically, you will work directly with our Vice
    President of Information Systems to help maintain the CALED website with
    current information by having the opportunity to reorganize the story
    board and information so that it is most accessible to users, looks
    professional and sharp, and is up to date.

    school districts.
     
    Qualifications
    Experience with CSS, W3C requirements, Macromedia Studio MX, Adobe

    Monday - Wednesday from 8am-12pm & 1-5

    Design/LDA Advisor Hours:
    Monday: 2-5
    Tuesday: 10-1:30
