Short Term Study Abroad Program (STPA)*
London, England Culture and Internship Program
Spring 2005: April 3-June 10, 2005

>From a home base in the lovely Borough of Kensington, London participants
will complete an internship for credit only, while taking two Upper Division
English courses focusing on the culture, literature, and rich history of
England. 12-14 quarter units of credit will be earned. Frequent excursions
out and about in London are an integral part of the program and are covered
by the program fees.
Internships:
Typically, internships are in Communications and Publishing, Accounting and
Finance, Business and Economics, Education, Law, Behavioral Sciences, and
many other social science and humanities areas. However, London also
offers internship opportunities in the following fields: Community and
Voluntary Services, Health, Politics and Public Policy, Theater, Music and
the Arts, Hotel and Restaurant Management, and Tourism.
Actual and estimated costs: $10,389.00
Eligibility:
* UCD student in good academic standing
(2.0 GPA)
* All students are required to have completed
ENL 1 or 3 (or their equivalents) prior to
departure
