Hi Everyone,
Community Meals is taking place Tuesday, September 2 at St.
Martin's Church.
At Community Meals we will be preparing, serving, and cleaning up
after a meal. The event takes place once a month and is there to give
a warm meal to those who otherwise wouldn't have one. There will
be 2 shifts, one from 4-5:30 and another from 5:30-7, but don't be
afraid to stay the whole time if you're enjoying yourself. Since it is so
close to campus we won't be organizing rides but if you do need one,
please e-mail or call me to let me know.
Directions: From La Rue Rd. (the corner with Arco and Rite Aid),
take a left onto Russell Blvd. (heading towards highway 113), at the
corner with Rubio's (which is no longer there), take a right onto
Sycamore Lane. You will then take your first right onto Hawthorne
Lane. The church will be about half a block down the street on your
right side. Just meet inside the dining room (it will be easy to find).
Just show up and help. Be sure to fill out a CERF form if you do.
