    Hi Everyone!

As promised – here are some of those metadata schemes that are being used.

Our Digital Library Program uses modified DC; here are some pages from the UCLA DLP

    Criteria for Digitization: http://www.library.ucla.edu/libraries/2639.cfm

    Collections Page http://www.library.ucla.edu/libraries/2257.cfm

The two Map Metadata files attached are from the Hypercities Project here at UCLA.

And in case you wanted to read up on Hypercities…

    Hi Kris, Jonnie,

Thanks for the meeting today. I'm excited to get back on track on my training/workshop mission, and am grateful that I now have colleagues to work with!

Here's the metadata fields we capture in the database. As you can see, we can easily add as many fields as we want. I'm also attaching an xml template of what a map metadata record would look like.

    Thanks,

    yoh
