An email from Julie reminded me I hadn't
sent off a status report re the Lab's
personnel situation to you all.
So here's where we are at the moment.
We have 2 open positions:
- computer tech II (in charge of MIL scanning operations):
We've completed interviewing, made prioritized
list of persons we would be interested in hiring,
and it's now in campus HR's hands.
- Library Assistant II: Lisa Clark resigned
May 14. The position has been posted by
campus HR and closes today. We hope
to be interviewing next week and part of the following week.
Catherine Masi is in her full-time position
to the end of June. Beginning July 1,
she will be in a part-time position,
and the work she'll be doing is metadata
manipulation/creation for MIL's collections.
As I previously emailed, Larry Carver
is retiring the end of June, and returning
part time in early August.
