    Virginia,

    I don't think this is a dumb question at all and, in fact, got frustrated
    enough by it that we made a fix for it in our cataloging system.

    We bought the content from MapLink for their topo map indexes and have
    linked them to our cataloging records for each state. You can get to all
    of them from here:
    http://cgi.stanford.edu/dept/SUL/library/cgi-bin/depts/branner/show.cgi

    This is the US page, you can then click on the state you want. That will
    bring up the 30x60 minute index. Click on the area you're interested in
    and it will pull up the 7.5 minute quad names.
