    Hi David,

I'm green with envy! Speaking of green, what a beautiful place to retire,
Bellingham. I know you and Emily will enjoy your retirement.

I thank you for all your wisdom and help in the past. I wish you the best.

    Sincerely,

    Wendie

    Hi Folks,

Well tomorrow I start an extended vacation which will flow into retirement
on June 28th. I will be looking at email and will be coming into work on
occasion to push materials through the system and to problem solve when
necessary. So if you have questions about the collection or ILL requests
that require consulting our collection please contact my assistant Jonnie
Hargis. His email is jhargis@library.ucla.edu. His direct phone line is
    310-206-7413.

It looks like Emily and I have purchased a house just outside the city
limits of Bellingham. We will be flying up tomorrow so that we can walk
through the house with the inspector. Barring any glitches we will be
moving probably during the first week of July.

Needless to say it has been wonderful working with all of you. I will miss
the colleagialiity and comradeship that each and everyone of you has
provided as well as the collected wisdom of the group. This will not in
fact be my last communication, but I thought I should update you all on my
    goings on.

    Fondly,

    David
